Cottage 7

Built in the late 1870s, cottage #7 is brimming with history and charm! Come sit on the porch and enjoy the sweet Landisville community from this sunny yellow haven with original Victorian sage accents. The lower floor features an open floor plan from front to back with plenty of space for living and dining, functional kitchen, and gorgeous original wood from floor to ceiling. Upstairs is the main bedroom and bathroom with option to divide into multiple sleeping areas if desired. The huge vaulted ceiling and beautiful natural light create a serene, calming place to rest in God’s presence.
The cottage includes both the main building and a second structure directly behind the main cottage. Originally used as a summer kitchen, it also includes a second floor with sleeping area. The two buildings have the potential of being combined into one large cottage.
Sloping and settling was resolved in 2024 when current owners hired a contractor to raise up the building and repair the cottage foundation. Cottage 7 is now ready for whatever her new owners imagine!
HISTORY: The cottage was first owned by a doctor and his family. The entire front of the cottage opened up for worshipers to gather and sing during camp-meeting while the family could shut off the back of the house by closing the wood privacy panels (still intact). The back building was originally the maid’s quarters.
Asking $45,000.
